Unimposing local bar with better than average food at reasonable prices. Quantity is great and quality is decent in general but fish is pretty good. If you get the BLT, you might be bringing some bacon home with you.
O.M.F.G...went there with my in-laws on a Friday, and the "special" fried fish was AMAZING! Not greasy, good sides and large portion! I now know I LOVE Haddock, because it is a light white fish, no bones and super tasty! Very busy with limited tables, but take out seemed very easy! I will definitely go back because I really wanted the sloppy joe, but fish was the special! The fried hotdogs were also tempting!
The fried cod!! It is the best I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a bunch over the years. If you want to get a table, you better get there early on Fridays, absolutely forget about trying to call in an order. I've never had much luck with it. It's just better to go in person and place the order. Trust me, it's worth the wait! I can't review any of the other menu items, because all I ever get is the fish on Fridays.
Really good dive bar. I have been a couple times and everything has been good. I am surprised so many bad reviews, but to each there own. The burgers are good. Loved the onion rings, mushrooms, and dynamite stix. Give it a try and support local.
Sadly due to price increases the cheesesteak is no longer available. However if you're looking for the best fish in Collinsville this is your spot! I come here more often because of the prices and cooked to order food. Quality is great! Everything is huge and prices are cheap. I come here now even just for the salads!
